X-Ban 2024 is an exhibition cum fiesta that has, in the past, gained a solid reputation as an outstanding event organized by any school in the Gampaha district. The event is well-recognized as a premier platform that helps to widen the knowledge of students and their families while offering a unique opportunity for state and private sector entities to showcase their respective products and services.

Bandaranayake College Gampaha proudly presents X-Ban, an educational exhibition and carnival that has become one of the largest school-organized events in Sri Lanka. The roots of X-Ban trace back to 1984 when it was initiated as a scientific exhibition. Recognizing the potential for a broader educational impact, the event was transformed into a comprehensive educational exhibition and carnival in 1990.

Since then, X-Ban has been held in 1990, 1993, 1999, 2003, 2013, and 2018, each time expanding its scope and influence. The event spans five days and attracts more than 200,000 visitors on each occasion, including students, educators, parents, and the general public.

This year marks the eighth iteration of X-Ban, coinciding with the 106th anniversary of Bandaranayake College. The event continues to uphold its legacy of providing valuable educational experiences, promoting scientific curiosity, offering entertainment, and fostering community engagement.
