X Fiesta 2026 kicked off in grand style on March 13 at the Bandaranayake College, Gampaha playground, setting the tone for three unforgettable nights of entertainment, music, and celebration.
The event commenced with a distinguished and symbolic oil lamp lighting ceremony, marking the official opening of the festival. This special moment was graced by 51 esteemed invitees, representing political leadership, government officials, sponsors, and members of the Old Boys’ Association, coming together in unity to light the traditional oil lamp.

The carnival atmosphere added to the excitement, with a wide range of attractions and rides enjoyed by both children and adults. Visitors also explored numerous stalls offering snacks, soft drinks, and delicious meals, creating a vibrant and festive environment throughout the evening.
The carnival commenced at 6.00 PM, followed by the musical show at 9.00 PM, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd that made the first night a resounding success.
X Fiesta 2026 Day 1 truly delivered an unforgettable experience, marking a powerful and energetic start to the event.
